When Moses first went to Pharaoh to release Israel, Pharaoh not only declined, but push the Israelite slaves even harder. Moses even questioned the Lord regarding Moses’ purpose in Egypt. The Lord then displays His person, promise, purpose, and power through the plagues brought upon Pharaoh and the Egyptians.
