Spring 2022 – The following Life Groups will be offered.

Prayer Meeting

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2). Prayer is foundational to the Christian faith.  Let’s gather with like-minded believers and see for yourself how God answers the prayers of His people. Pastor Terry leads this weekly time of intercession in the sanctuary each Wednesday evening at 6:30.

Challenging the Secular World View of Genesis (in-person)

The secular world view of the history presented in Genesis can present questions for many Christians. This class aims to strengthen your faith by providing answers and in turn challenging the secular worldview. Bro. Ron Bluff will lead this class each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the TEL classroom.

The Story – by Max Lucado (via ZOOM) – Thursday only

The Story is the story of the Bible, God’s great love affair with humanity. It sweeps you into the unfolding progression of Bible people and events from Genesis to Revelation, told as one grand narrative. Tom and Jean Harris lead this study via Zoom on Thursday evenings at 6:45 pm. Contact Tom and Jean at tomandjean777@gmail.com or call/text to 210-842-2115.

Financial/Stewardship Class

This class will be led by Jason Talley, using Crown Financial resources.  If you are interested, it is not too late to join.  Notify the office at 830-216-4946 or office@fbcf.org so enough study materials can be ordered.

Take Courage: The Study of Haggai

This class is for women, led by Sally Gaertner.  Jennifer Rothschild wrote this study of the great book of Haggai.

Student Bible Study

The 7th-12th grade students will meet together for Bible study each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Family Life Center. Pastor Matt has been taking the students through a study of the attributes of God.

Children’s Mid-Week Activities

An exciting children’s worship hour happens each Wednesday at 6:30 pm.  There is student pick-up from the South Campus. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and are welcome to attend their child’s 6:30 class to see what it’s all about.  Parents are welcome to attend.
