We continue the study of Jesus as Lord. Today we look at Jesus’ baptism and his time in the wilderness immediately following. Jesus’ baptism was a declaration of who He truly is. Afterwards, Jesus went into the wilderness where He faced Satan and temptation. We can draw a parallel with our own lives as Christians. After we are saved, we make a declaration of our salvation through baptism. It is then that Satan pretty much declares war on us and we face our time in the wilderness.
