Christ begins to work with the disciples to prepare them for the tasks ahead of them. We see in this passage the disciples’ faith being tested as they cross the Sea of Galilee and the miraculous casting out of demons of a gentile man. Jesus proves that He has power over the natural things that occur in our lives and over the evil spirits that wreak havoc in our lives.
