The Coming of the Messiah
Series: Christmas
Pastor Dr. Mike Clements explains how Matthew used the Greek translation for his text in Matthew 1 and 2 to tell the story of Jesus’ conception and birth. Using the Greek words for first born and virgin were more exact than the Hebrew words. Biblical writers wrote what God inspired them to write even if they didn’t fully understand everything they wrote. We don’t have to understand everything in order to be saved, we only have to believe and have faith in Jesus. Matthew 1: 18-2: 6; Isaiah 7: 14; Isaiah 9: 6; Isaiah 11 (NKJV)
