We have been given a race to run and sometimes it is easy to get sidetracked, just like the hare in the story of the Hare and the Tortoise. We, as Christians, will have a time when God wants us to have faith even if we can’t feel Him in our lives. Perhaps we are being persecuted, have doubts, are afraid or unhappy. God wants us to grow our faith so that we trust Him through faith. Then God wants us to be steadfast in our faith and dwell in His will even when we do not fully understand the how and why of what is happening in our lives and in our world. (1 Timothy 4:13-16 NKJV)
