A point of light can be very powerful. Sea captains were often saved from losing their way by a small point of light, whether it was from the stars they used to navigate or a lighthouse or building on the seashore. Are you a point of light for others so that they might find their way to Jesus? Or do you hide your light under a bushel. Are you afraid to let your light shine? Luke 9:24 says, “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” (Ruth 1:1, 1:16; Luke 9:24 NKJV)
