Ministering To All Youth In The 7th – 12th Grades

It is our desire to assist families in their ministry to their teenagers.  We fully support the role and responsibility of parents in this critical ministry.  We encourage parents to engage in the youth ministry and to help lead and carry out the ministry.

Our ministry team consists of the youth minister and many volunteer adults who have a heart to help teenagers find success in their lives. Our ultimate goal is to ensure each teenager has a saving and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our youth ministry exists to expose students to the relevance of Christ’s love, teach them what it means to boldly and radically honor God with their lives, and connect them with other Christians to discover the ministry God has for their future. We base our purpose on Matthew 28:19-20 and Matthew 22:36-40.

To meet the goals of our youth ministry we have many regular and special activities, but we are aware that it is only through the power of God’s Holy Spirit that lives are truly changed. It is He who saves us from our sins and He who empowers us to live a Godly and productive life.

Regular Weekly Activities

Sunday Morning Bible Study, 9:15 am to 10:15 am

Students from 7th-12th grade meet together for a time of praise, prayer, and Bible study. Our format is to meet together in one large group for announcements and share time, and then to split into smaller groups (age and gender specific) for teaching and discussion time.

Youth Choir Praise Ministry, Sundays, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
The Wii Praise Youth Choir is a ministry, and the team travels to perform, lead in worship, and do mission work both locally and around the country.

Youth Discipleship, Sundays, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
This hour includes a more in-depth study for committed students.  These 7th-12th graders are currently studying Experiencing God: Student Edition.  Based on the bestselling book by Henry Blackaby, this study incorporates a video drama along with Bible study that will help students learn to hear when God is speaking, find out how God is speaking, and find out where God is working and join Him.

Wednesday Youth Fellowship and IMPACT 4:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

On Wednesday evening, the Family Life Center opens at 4:00 pm, and stays open until 8:00 pm where students can hang out, work on homework, and have a great time fellowshiping together.   At 6:30 pm, youth worship begins.  After a few minutes together, the middle-schoolers and high-schoolers separate for exciting and age-appropriate Bible study.
During the SUMMER MONTHS, the Family Life Center will open at 6:00 pm.

In addition to regular weekly activities, we also have a variety special activities throughout the year. These include things like mission trips, summer camp, winter ski trips, youth rallies, lock-ins, fellowships, and work days.
