"Ministering To All Youth In The 7th - 12th Grades"

It is our desire to assist families in their ministry to their teenagers. We fully support the role and responsibility of parents in this critical ministry. We encourage parents to engage in the youth ministry and to help lead and carry out the ministry. Our ministry team consists of the youth minister and many volunteer adults who have a heart to help teenagers find success in their lives. Our ultimate goal is to ensure each teenager has a saving and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our youth ministry exists to expose students to the relevance of Christ's love, teach them what it means to boldly and radically honor God with their lives, and connect them with other Christians to discover the ministry God has for their future.
We base our purpose on Matthew 28:19-20 and Matthew 22:36-40.
To meet the goals of our youth ministry we have many regular and special activities, but we are aware that it is only through the power of God's Holy Spirit that lives are truly changed. It is He who saves us from our sins and He who empowers us to live a Godly and productive life.

Regular Weekly Activities

Sunday Morning Bible Study 9:45 to 10:45
We meet together for a time of praise, prayer, and Bible study. Our format is to meet together in one large group for announcements and share time, and then tosplit into smaller groups for teaching and discussion time.

Sunday Afternoon Praise Ministry 4:30 to 6:00
Our praise ministry consists of a praise team and an audio/visual team that meets to practice for Wednesday night worship. We also use this time for drama and other types of visual ministry as the need arises. We use this time to allowyouth to prepare for ministry.

Sunday Evening Discipleship 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Our Sunday evening time is designed to disciple students through topical studies.  We have study topics such as witnessing, creation versus evolution, and relationships.

Wednesday Youth Fellowship and Worship 4:00 to 8:00
On Wednesday evening the Family Life Center opens at 4:00 and stays open until 8:00 for students to hang out, work on homework, and have a great time fellowshipping together. At 6:30 our youth worship begins with our youth praise band leading out in worship and then a message presented by the youth minister.

In addition to regular weekly activities we also have many special activities.
These include things like mission trips, summer camp, winter ski trips, youth rallies, lock-ins, fellowships, and work days.

I want to personally invite you and your teenager to join us in this ministry. I recognize this generation is in a real spiritual battle and there is an urgency for us to take seriously our roles in regards to this battle. Thankfully we serve the God of this universe who is fully equipped to ensure our victory during these difficult times. We wholly rely on Him for the effectiveness of our ministry.
