AWANA starts for 2008-2009 on SEPTEMBER 14th, 2008.  Note the NEW start time:  5:30pm.  We will end at 7pm as always.  We're excited to see you there!

               WELCOME!
We are glad to offer the children's AWANA program here at First Baptist Church - Floresville, Texas as a youth ministry and outreach.  AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs for children ages 2 through high school.  Here at First Baptist, we offer our program for ages 3 through 8th grade.  The AWANA goal is to equip churches to reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.  AWANA is an acronym for: "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

We would love to have your child join us on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm - 7pm this fall!
